What People Are Saying
Adam Lamb
“My mother was an eccentric British woman, Mary helped us with the whole transaction. A lot of people don’t want the tragedy of it all. A lot of people want to celebrate.” "We had champagne and pizza the night before my mother passed, and a bagpiper played at her funeral." They also got us all little urns in purple velvet boxes. That was my mom’s favorite color. Grand Departures made it simple and easy, and we enjoyed ourselves. I can’t say enough.”
Judith Martin
“They carried out all of my wishes, I would offer their name to a neighbor in a heartbeat.”
Tina Rickabaugh
"I cannot say enough good things about Grand Departures and highly recommend them to everyone. They do everything possible to lessen the stress on the family. The funeral director is so “in tune” that she actual becomes part of the family. I cannot tell you what a breath of fresh air that is! Traditional funeral homes are too sterile, unwelcoming, impersonal and downright rude. Not to mention expensive and they try to sell you things you don’t want. You won’t find that at Grand Departures. You will find an arm around your shoulder, a hug when you need it the most and a “we will take care of it” attitude that is sincere in every way. They are sensitive to your wishes and those of your love one. Thanks Mary and Bob for everything you have done."
Tracy Galsim
The best! The funeral director was easy to work with and very helpful. I would reccomend them to anyone.
